So this half term I feel like my parenting is 100%…swimming lessons every morning, walks with the dog, shopping for the girls…I’ll conveniently forget about the 6 hour Netflix marathon I had the other day while the girls played upstairs ππ

So it’s been another crazy week, work has been hectic as always, the house hasn’t cleaned itself, the dog is ready for a bath, he stinks and the car sounds like a box of spanners!
I’ve decided I’m going to forget all that this lovely Saturday morning and relax…until the kids start arguing and I resume back to manic mum.
Happy Saturday people β€οΈ
Just taken the girls breakfast in bed but do they deserve it when I’m having to fetch down yesterday’s breakfast dishes?!! Every morning I say ‘this is the last time you have breakfast up here’ and every morning I take it up π More fool me!!

So it’s been half term this week and I’m, as always, torn between being fun and outgoing for my kids and staying in bed and resting my tired aching body!
Of course I don’t get to stay in bed so it’s been a mixture of swimming and athletics lessons, dog walking, shopping, face painting and trick or treating!
Babysitting job anyone??! π
Hello!
First let me introduce myself, my name is Claire and Iβm 36 (but definitely 21 in my head). I live in Yorkshire, UK with my 2 daughters aged 13 and 7, and our crazy (slightly aggressive) dog Milo. I work part time as a primary school teacher…which often feels like a full time job!
Anyway, as I donβt have an adult at home to share things with, I thought Iβd start a blog. Iβll blog the highs and lows of my single mum life, Iβm sure many of you will resonate π I will also share some kid friendly vegetarian recipes.
I will leave it there for now…watch this space!
